Moon Phases

Mrs. Munk has been reviewing the phases of the moon with the kids. How the moon is positioned in relevance to the sun and earth in order to get a "new moon" or a "full moon" and each of the phases in between! What a great way to end our lessons than by making the phases out of Oreos!!!!

Spelling City

This week our class will be able to start using the full benefits of Spelling City in class and at home. If you have never heard of Spelling City is a website that can be used to study spelling/vocabulary words. They also have an app that we can use in class on our i-Pads.

A class subscription to the program was donated to our classroom (I can't thank them enough). The kids will be able to access all of the games the program has available, take practice tests, tests, and much more. They can use it anywhere as long as internet access is available. The web address is listed below. You can also go to www.spellingcity.com and search for me as the teacher.

Your child's username and password is the same username and password they have for their Eastnoble accounts. You can find those in the back of their agenda books :) If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask! This will be a great resource for studying their spelling words in a variety of ways!!!
